Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist III to join our team at Williams Companies Inc. This role will be responsible for ensuring system integrity, compliance, and safety of facility equipment and pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform moderately sophisticated technical assignments to ensure system integrity, compliance, and safety of facility equipment and pipeline operations.
  • Participate in project planning and collaborate with company partners to guarantee accurate and available data.
  • Read, understand, and evaluate engineering design documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years' experience in oil & gas industry.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty.
Physical and Environmental Work Requirements
  • Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises, and in enclosed spaces.
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time.
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
  • Use hand tools.
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements
  • Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays as the need arises.
  • May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts, and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays.
Other Requirements
  • Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Experienced with high-speed natural gas engines and compressors, including Ariel/Caterpillar packaging.
  • Knowledgeable in installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Skilled in fleet-level maintenance, reliability programs, and equipment health monitoring.
  • Proficient in technical training facilitation, root cause failure analysis, and equipment sizing/selection.
  • Familiar with tools/software for maintenance and performance analysis, such as Maximo, Windrock Analyzers, OSIsoft PI, Resonance Analyzers, Caterpillar Gas Engine Rating Pro (GERP), Ariel performance software.
Preferred
  • Experience in vibration analysis/testing (Category 1, 2, 3+) and API 618 pulsation analysis.
  • Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) certification.
Hourly/Salary Guidelines

$105,000 - $120,000 - $135,000
