Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our team at the Greater Binghamton Health Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide culturally competent and evidence-based treatment and support services to individuals with mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning
  • Develop treatment plans with individuals and treatment teams, monitoring and evaluating progress, and modifying treatment plans as needed
  • Determine discharge needs and appropriate community resources
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) registration by New York State
  • Ability to work in a recovery-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
