Position Overview:
The Senior Customer Service Associate will deliver exceptional service by assisting both internal and external clients, primarily through direct interactions, to fulfill their branch and rental requirements. This role involves acquiring knowledge through local training and practical experience to provide administrative assistance, support customers, and serve as a rental backup in a significant branch or airport setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming inquiries regarding reservations, pricing, and general information, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolution.
- Manage outbound calls for follow-ups, accounts receivable, and other assigned tasks.
- Provide outstanding customer service by evaluating rental needs both in-person and via phone.
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them promptly.
- Offer directions and general support as needed.
- Assist in evaluating the condition of vehicles upon return.
- Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and transactions at exit kiosks.
- Promote the company effectively while safely transporting customers and providing necessary assistance.
- Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services clearly.
- May offer optional protection products, upgrades, and other additional services.
- Notify management of any vehicle issues or required maintenance.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as necessary.
- Perform various administrative and basic accounting tasks, including billing support, accounts receivable, and report generation.
- Execute other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- Willingness to accept a starting pay rate.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales within retail, guest services, or administrative roles is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
- Must be able to adhere to the established work schedule.
