Job Summary

This is a fast-paced program that touches every aspect of the business unit. As a Rental Sales Management Trainee, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building skills. We allow you to carve out your own career path and promote from within, based on performance. The program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, but there is an opportunity to complete it in as little as 12 months. You will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management.

This role is ideal for motivated, coachable, and ambitious individuals looking to start their sales, operations, or management career. You will have a structured work week, rotational Saturdays (depending on branch location/hours), and competitive pay plus OT. Key Responsibilities
  • Handle sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
  • Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
  • Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
  • Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
  • Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices
  • Possess a high degree of common sense and the aptitude to learn quickly
  • Ability to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program
  • Must be computer literate, intermediate required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar related degree
  • One (1) year or more customer service experience with issues resolution preferred
