Far West Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our leadership team. The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to collaborate with the District Manager to oversee the daily functioning of the establishment, ensuring outstanding customer service and effectively managing both front- and back-of-house teams. Qualifications/ Education/ Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food service or restaurant management. Food Handler Certification is required and can be obtained during onboarding. Proficient in using computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology. Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Uphold integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Far West Services, LLC. Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, and scheduling team members in collaboration with the District Manager. Partner with the District Manager and Human Resources to manage team performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions with professionalism. Clearly communicate job expectations to staff; plan, monitor, and review employee performance; manage compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures. Maintain effective communication with the District Manager regarding operational and human resources matters. Conduct regular inspections of the establishment to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain composure during high-volume periods or unusual events to ensure the establishment operates smoothly and sets a positive example for the team. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping. Identify and resolve issues related to food preparation. Assist the team in addressing customer service challenges with grace and courtesy, aiming to cultivate a loyal customer base. Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; adhere to safety protocols, including injury reporting, conducting meetings, and equipment maintenance, while complying with health and legal regulations. Achieve company objectives by taking ownership of new and diverse job responsibilities; explore opportunities to enhance job performance. Adhere to operational policies and standards, including delivering quality food products, managing cash handling, and ensuring store safety and security. Maintain operational standards and requirements; identify and communicate maintenance issues to the Facilities Department; ensure all facilities meet company standards; facilitate communication between the General Manager, District Manager, and all team members. Utilize company-provided tools to coach, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring a high-performing restaurant team; leverage support from the Restaurant Support Center; ensure compliance with risk management standards. Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to drive results through team collaboration to meet store metrics.
