Assistant General Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run daily operations of the center in the General Manager's absence.
  • Make informed decisions to allocate time and resources effectively.
  • Manage and assign team members to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Leadership experience in any form.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear.

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
