Salary


The estimated annual salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the value we place on our General Managers and their contributions to our company's growth and success.



Job Description


As a General Manager at U-Haul, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our moving and storage center in Grove, Oklahoma. This includes managing a team of staff, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and maintaining a customer-centric approach to service delivery. You will be the face of our company in the community, promoting our brand values and building strong relationships with customers and partners.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • 1-3 years of management experience in retail or a similar service industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Computer expertise and proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
