We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our furry patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Support Veterinary Team: Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing quality care to pets, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean hospital environment.
- Client Communication: Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and hospital services, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Medical Charting: Accurately and thoroughly document patient medical history, treatments, and test results.
- Lab and Radiology Support: Assist with laboratory tests, radiology procedures, and other diagnostic services as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hospital staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Education: Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience: One year of related experience, with customer service skills preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in medical software and equipment.
