Veterinary Care Specialist

Position Purpose:
The primary goal of this Veterinarian Technician position is to provide exceptional veterinary care to our patients and deliver outstanding customer service to their owners.
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be the face of our mission and values, representing our commitment to animal welfare and customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with our veterinary team to ensure that every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent veterinary care to patients, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and recording patient history.
- Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support to ensure their understanding of their pet's health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in the training of new staff members and contribute to the development of our veterinary team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
- Current certification as a veterinary technician or technician assistant (CVT or CTA) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
