Clinical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Clinical Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals in the Trauma/Surgical ICU department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and make decisions based on the nursing process
- Supervise and direct staff providing patient care
- Assign nursing personnel and staff to specific patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- 2 years of directly related experience
- RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
- Nationally accredited nursing graduate
This position is subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal. The working conditions include exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials, requiring personal protective equipment.
