Clinical Nursing Leader
The University of New Mexico Hospitals is seeking a skilled Clinical Nursing Leader to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth and development through our Clinical Advancement Program, with compensation increases based on nursing education and national certifications. A sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to assigned patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities
- Respond to emergency situations and maintain a safe environment for patients and families
- Encourage patient participation in their care and report concerns
Requirements:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- Active RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement state
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
- Proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Nationally certified in specialty field preferred
- Heavy Work physical demand requirements
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and biohazardous materials requiring PPE
Please note that this position is located at the New Eye Surgery Center in Albuquerque, NM.
