Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to assigned patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency situations and maintain a safe environment for patients and families
  • Encourage patient participation in their care and report concerns

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement state
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
  • Proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
  • Nationally certified in specialty field preferred
  • Heavy Work physical demand requirements
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and biohazardous materials requiring PPE

Please note that this position is located at the New Eye Surgery Center in Albuquerque, NM.
