About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Wellpath. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by healthcare practitioners, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through the implementation of established protocols and precautions.
  • Implement nutrition and therapeutic diets, and assist in medical procedures as necessary to meet patient needs.
  • Document nursing encounters and communicate information to healthcare staff and supervisory personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One (1) or more years of clinic experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed.
  • Current CPR certification.
