About the Opportunity:
Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Food Safety Intern to join our team. As a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the poultry industry and develop essential skills that will provide a competitive advantage through mentorship and leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance and food safety programs
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance and food safety activities
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a college degree-granting program (associate, bachelor's, graduate) in a relevant field such as agriculture, animal/poultry science, food science, chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
- Must be at least 18 years of age
