Quality Manager Job Description

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Quality Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of quality professionals to implement and maintain quality management systems
  • Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a production environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, such as AS9100 or ISO9001
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Experience with quality management software and tools
  • Knowledge of aerospace or defense industry quality standards
  • Certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma or CQE

Blue Origin offers a competitive salary range of $127,170.00-$178,038.00, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
