Job Overview

The Enterprise Solutions Architect collaborates with the Sales and Marketing teams, as well as technical departments, to design and propose effective enterprise solutions that meet client needs. This role merges technical knowledge with consulting capabilities to assess and create tailored solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities include understanding and interpreting client visions and requirements, working across various teams to present precise and comprehensive technical solutions, and identifying potential challenges and opportunities. The architect also serves as a technical advisor to the Marketing and Sales teams, helping to shape business strategies and craft clear messaging around technical offerings.

Core Responsibilities

  • Engage with client business and IT experts during the initial sales stages to define and develop both business and technical requirements. Lead technical discovery sessions, business justification discussions, solution mapping, and evaluations of client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to effectively communicate the technical advantages, features, benefits, and competitive edges of the company's products and services.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, proposing innovative solutions as necessary to ensure accurate and complete technical quotes. Ensure all technical documentation and drawings are compliant with company standards.
  • Produce and deliver detailed floorplans to support project, design, and technical teams in the successful implementation of client solutions, incorporating insights from the Sales team.
  • Conduct on-site network assessments in partnership with design and engineering teams.
  • Translate client feedback and enhancement requests into actionable insights for engineering and product development teams.
  • Share client feedback internally to enhance products, services, and marketing materials. Work with sales, marketing, and technical teams to proactively address customer and market technical needs.
  • Act as the primary technical pre-sales contact for key accounts, demonstrating effective communication and strategic collaboration.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Responsibilities may be adjusted or assigned based on business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Over 10 years of experience in client-facing technical sales or sales engineering, particularly in healthcare IT systems and infrastructure.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or engineering services.
  • Experience in Customer Success or Business Development is preferred, as this role requires a creative and thoughtful approach to client interactions.
  • Demonstrated client account and project management experience, with a proven ability to plan and execute complex client engagements.
  • Strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Compensation and level will vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.

Compensation Structure

The Total Target Compensation (TTC) includes a base salary along with incentives for meeting defined business objectives, which may encompass commissions, bonuses, or a combination thereof.

Travel Requirements: The position may require approximately 80% travel.
