Job Summary:

The Safety Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees and contractors. This position requires a strong leader who can manage safety programs, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee facility-wide safety management and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Safety Program Development: Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and safety training to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate workplace incidents, lead root cause analysis, and maintain incident records.
  • Environmental Compliance: Oversee environmental compliance and lead waste management and spill response efforts.
  • Training and Culture: Promote safety awareness, lead employee training and safety meetings, and foster a positive safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
  • 5+ years of safety management experience in industrial settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and strong leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close, peripheral, and color vision.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and hazardous materials. Must follow all safety protocols.
