  • Provide direct supervision during high-complexity testing.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team on daily activities and ongoing projects.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems affecting test performance.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, equipment maintenance, and data analysis.

  • Plan and perform assay validation/verification, and write summary reports.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain accurate laboratory results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in molecular testing.
  • Next-generation sequencing experience highly desirable.
  • 3+ years of experience in Clinical Laboratory Science or related fields.
  • Active California State license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
