The Urology Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the office personnel and all clinical and facility staff, ensuring efficient operations, delegating tasks, and resolving issues as they arise. This role is pivotal in providing the necessary support services and resources for effective departmental management.

Key Responsibilities

A typical day for a Urology Practice Manager at Hackensack Meridian Health involves:

  • Leading staff and coordinating educational initiatives within the department.
  • Monitoring compliance with established Standards of Practice, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Guaranteeing legal compliance in areas such as Risk Management and Patient Rights.
  • Implementing evidence-based practices and guiding staff in their application.
  • Assessing educational needs to inform program development.
  • Evaluating the quality of care delivered by department personnel.

Qualifications

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills.
