Job Title: Engineer Trainee/Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of transportation projects, including highway design, bridge maintenance, and traffic safety.
  • Conduct field inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to resolve project issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve traffic safety and mobility, including signalization and traffic control.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field crews and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution.
  • Passing the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (FE) and one year of full-time engineering experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
