Role Summary:
The Facilities Services Coordinator will be based in Research Triangle Park, NC, and will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage vendor relationships related to essential services that support business continuity, including but not limited to lab uniforms and document shredding.
2. Prepare conference rooms for scheduled meetings, ensuring the layout aligns with the organizer's specifications.
3. Assist with pre-event arrangements and post-event clean-up in conference and break rooms, including dismantling props used during events.
4. Oversee lab recycling initiatives, ensuring the timely disposal of glass, plastic, Styrofoam, and cardboard.
5. Conduct light maintenance tasks as requested by the facilities engineering team.
6. Ensure prompt handling of service ticket requests from internal users, both essential and non-essential.
7. Maintain cleanliness in breakroom areas and manage the restocking of snacks and beverages as necessary.
8. Collaborate with the EHS team to monitor safety compliance throughout the facility.

Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Background in facilities services is advantageous.
- Experience in vendor management or customer service is desirable.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory, or facilities environments is beneficial.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in basic maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, shelving assembly, basic plumbing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and computer skills.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful with outstanding client relationship abilities.
