The Facilities Cleaning Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the allocation and direct management of cleaning staff to uphold the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas. This role involves conducting inspections of spaces, equipment, and working environments to ensure adherence to sanitation and OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the activities of personnel within the Cleaning program.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on tasks, safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that cleaning services align with the requirements of the facility.
  • Guarantee that cleaning staff are equipped with the necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties.
  • Distribute supplies to cleaning personnel as required.
  • Conduct regular assessments of quality, service, and safety in assigned areas, reporting findings with a focus on necessary repairs.
  • Evaluate and suggest new cleaning supplies and equipment through testing.
  • Ensure that specified contract services are delivered by the contractor through thorough inspections of the work completed.
  • Notify the immediate supervisor of any noted deficiencies or issues in work quality.
  • Report personnel and customer-related issues to the supervisor.
  • Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Execute management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and relevant laws.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, plan, assign, and direct work activities.
  • Ensure that each team member adheres to SBM policies and procedures.
  • Promote operational excellence through training, coaching, discipline, and encouragement of team members.
  • Address complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure that employees receive proper training on tasks and safety measures.
  • Monitor staff for appropriate use of personal protective equipment and supplies.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions in areas needing improvement.
  • Review and maintain employee records, including attendance and performance metrics.
  • Correct unsafe behaviors and report to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field from an accredited institution, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Active/Transferable DoD TS Clearance is preferred.
Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 per year

Shift: M-F 4:00PM - 12:30AM
