Program Manager - Ship & Air Integrated Warfare Division Management Support

SAIC's Naval Business Unit provides program management support to the Ship & Air Integrated Warfare (SAIW) Division, developing, delivering, and sustaining communication electronics and combat systems for the Warfighter.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and grow the Ship & Air Integrated Warfare Division Management Support program, supporting the prime customer.

This position requires leadership skills and the ability to manage all aspects of a contract, including financial management, reporting, personnel management, technical management, planning, and subcontracting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regular interaction with the prime for continued review and development of personnel staffing to ensure all contract objectives are properly executed.
  • Developing and submitting bi-weekly financial and monthly status reports to the prime.
  • Maintaining prescribed financial controls and assuring the integrity of financial matters concerning subcontractor support.
  • Coordinating efforts with supporting organizations, including contracts, procurement, project control, finance, and human resources related to the staffing/funding of the contract.
  • Regular interaction across all levels of management, including customer negotiations and influencing leadership and managers to achieve the best business solution.
  • Creating and maintaining a collaborative environment conducive to the professional growth and development of staff and the free flow of information throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; Master's degree desired.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the field or in a related area with 3+ years in a leadership role. At least three of the most recent five years of experience must have been directly supporting project management functions.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of a contract, including financial management, reporting, personnel management, technical management, planning, and subcontracting.
  • Executive-level liaison with company leadership as well as customer leadership on a regular basis.
