About the Role

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Sonography Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Conduct day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in performing surgery and portable exams, accurately following physician orders and documenting exam results in Meditech.
  • Verify images in PACS and maintain proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
  • Document patient history, including lab values, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
  • BLS current.
