About the Role

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including ultrasound, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Document patient information, imaging results, and any notable findings in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
  • BLS current.
