Job Title: Ultimate Frisbee Instructor

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is seeking a qualified instructor to lead a group of participants in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee.

Job Summary:

The Ultimate Frisbee Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading instructional sessions, teaching the basics and fundamentals of the sport, and promoting a fun and safe environment for participants.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead instructional sessions for participants aged 5-14
  • Teach the basics and fundamentals of Ultimate Frisbee
  • Emphasize skill building, fun, fitness, and sportsmanship
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants
Requirements:
  • Ultimate Frisbee experience, typically from high school or post-secondary education
  • Experience in youth leadership and communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Previous experience working with elementary and middle school aged children
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the rules of Ultimate Frisbee
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Work Environment:

The Ultimate Frisbee Instructor will work at Toki Middle School, with a start date of September 9, 2024, and a program duration of 6 weeks.
