We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Utility Locator III to join our team at McKim & Creed. As a leading top 150 ENR-ranked firm, we offer a unique opportunity to grow your career and make a meaningful impact in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage a Utility Location and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) field crew.
  • Ensure the quality of work, safety, and meeting schedules and budgets.
  • Organize field work, direct crew members, and collect field data, locate features, and deliver data to the office.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Utility Locating and SUE field operations.
  • Proficiency with SUE locating equipment and some proficiency with ground penetrating radar.
  • Individual will have proficient technical skills and behavioral traits such as process-oriented, steady, helpful, honest, trustworthy, adaptable, analytical, problem solver, likes work alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail-oriented, precise, hates mistakes, likes structure.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, cleared criminal background check, and negative drug test result.
