SVP, Relationship Manager Team Lead
Job Summary:Leads a team of lenders in developing and managing new commercial deposit and loan accounts, as well as enhancing existing relationships. Proactively provides financial solutions to clients, increases the bank's deposit base, and develops sound and profitable business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify deposit-driven commercial relationships and present solutions using treasury management, wealth products, and other services.
- Lead a team of lenders, providing guidance and feedback on various issues and projects, and hold them accountable for results.
- Manage and service commercial relationships by interviewing applicants and obtaining pertinent financial data.
- Analyze financial information and determine whether a credit is an acceptable risk.
- Approve loans within assigned lending authority and recommend credits outside of that authority to the next level or present to the Loan Committee.
- Monitor existing loans for conformity to terms and conditions.
- Participate with and assist other lending officers on larger, more complex credits.
- Monitor market conditions and make recommendations to maintain a competitive and profitable product line.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of commercial products to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.
- Demonstrated skills in commercial credit underwriting, business development, and portfolio management for mid-sized companies.
- Minimum of seven or more years of Commercial Lending experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Superb people skills to work within a team environment and successfully develop and retain client relationships.
- Proven ability to cross-sell other banking products.
- Self-motivated to work independently and take ownership.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business with emphasis in financial banking preferred.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Attentive to detail and accurate when analyzing financial statements and presenting a credit package for formal approval.
Leads, manages, and develops Commercial lenders.
Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university with a minimum of seven years related experience and/or training in commercial banking.

Salary Range: $149,503 - $224,254. Amount is based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
