Sleep Disorder Center Technologist

MU Health Care is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our Sleep Disorder Center team. This critical role involves conducting and evaluating overnight polysomnograms to diagnose sleep disorders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills to explain test procedures to patients and address their psychological needs throughout the study, resulting in high-quality results.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with medical professionals to record, score, and communicate sleep/wake outcomes, adapting techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
Salary and BenefitsOur competitive salary range for this position is $19.15 - $30.23 per hour, with opportunities for night shift differential.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of one year of sleep polysomnography experience or completion of a sleep program is required, with preferred qualifications including graduation from a sleep program or an associate's degree in a science or health-related field.
