Sleep Technologist Specialist

The Sleep Lab Department at Boone Health is seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic services. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sleep studies, applying electrodes and sensors to patients, preparing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
- Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fittings and initiate various modes of therapy.
- Recognize and manage respiratory conditions, scoring sleep and wake stages, and generating reports.
- Transfer data to appropriate media and ensure accurate test analysis.
Benefits and Qualifications:
This position offers a competitive $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary, along with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic cardiovascular life support certification, and registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) licensure. Experience with sleep study equipment and software is preferred.
Work Environment:
This night shift position involves working 12-hour shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Thursday through Saturday. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a constant state of alertness and prioritize patient safety. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
