Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at MU Health Care. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders by operating complex medical equipment and interpreting sleep study results. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related conditions, enabling patients to achieve healthier and more restful lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct polysomnograms and other sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders
- Interpret sleep study results to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations for treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest sleep disorder treatments and technologies
Requirements
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) or equivalent certification
- Associate's degree in a science or health-related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
