Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist Specialist to join our team at Boone Health. This is a full-time position working overnight shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

About the Role:
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe environment. As a Sleep Technologist Specialist, you will be responsible for applying electrodes and sensors to patients, preparing and calibrating equipment, and performing positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fittings. You will also conduct sleep studies, initiate and maintain various modes of therapy, recognize and manage respiratory conditions, and score sleep and wake stages.

Responsibilities:
* Prepares patients for sleep studies by applying electrodes and sensors
* Operates and maintains sleep laboratory equipment, including PAP machines and sleep recorders
* Scores sleep and wake stages, as well as clinical events, such as apneas and hypopneas
* Generates reports and transfers data to electronic medical records

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
* Less than two years of experience in a healthcare setting
* Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification required; Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification preferred

Salary:
$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
