Job Opportunity
Metrocare Services is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Metrocare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with developmental or mental health challenges.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the level of expertise required for this role, as well as the importance of this position within our organization.

About the Job
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Metrocare, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care to our clients. This will include administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and performing various medical procedures as ordered by licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families on healthy habits, disease management, and other relevant topics.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess a current Texas license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). A minimum of one year of experience working in a healthcare setting is also preferred. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
