About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Vocational Nurse Specialist to join our team at Evergreen Life Services Texas. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Skilled Nursing Care: Administer medications, provide wound care, respiratory treatments, and other skilled nursing services as needed.
- Maintaining Accurate Records: Ensure that medical records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with state regulations.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assisting with Daily Living Tasks: Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Conducting Health Assessments: Conduct regular health assessments to identify potential health issues and develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
- Communicating Effectively: Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program and have a minimum of one (1) year of clinically relevant experience.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Texas.
- Skillset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
