Job Summary

The Assistant Property Manager is a key member of the property management team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the property and achieving maximum return on investment for the property owner. This role involves a range of tasks, including collecting and securing rental and utility payments, making daily bank deposits, and delivering late rent letters and notices to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and secure rental and utility payments
  • Make daily bank deposits and verify their accuracy
  • Deliver late rent letters and notices to residents
  • Assist in the eviction process and follow-up procedures
  • Utilize property management software and other systems to carry out daily responsibilities
  • Prepare accounting records and reports, including the Statement of Deposit Account and Monthly Closeout
  • Assist in the leasing process as needed to meet community and company goals
Requirements
  • Normal working hours: 35-40 hours per week, with a 30-minute meal break and overtime as required
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Follows and demonstrates company policies, procedures, and best practices
