A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is an integral part of an agile team dedicated to developing top-tier tools and methodologies for creating exceptional mining machinery. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with design teams and operational units to guarantee safe and efficient processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Test Engineering and Shop Operations to formulate procedures that ensure safe and effective machine testing at the Testing Laboratory.
- Documenting client specifications and researching innovative technologies.
- Creating and implementing solutions that assist our clients in producing outstanding products.
- Analyzing process breakdowns to identify root causes and developing corrective actions to address persistent issues.
Team Interaction: To succeed in this role, the candidate must effectively engage with all organizational levels.
Work Environment: The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an office setting while being around the maintenance and operation of large mining equipment.
Education & Experience Required: A degree in Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a Technical Equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD/Solid Modeling
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Project Management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Experience in Heavy Equipment Operation
- Knowledge of Machine Testing and Design
- Facility Layout expertise
- Inventory Management experience
