LPN Float Pool

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct, evidence-based care to patients, assist with procedures, and perform lab and procedural tests within your scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist with procedures, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital sign monitoring.
- Perform lab and procedural tests, such as urinalyses, blood glucose monitoring, and electrocardiograms.
- Document patient care in the medical record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment.
- IV Certification (LPN IV) within 90 days of employment.
- Vocational school graduate.
