Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children in our 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

The PICU care team is made up of intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, Child Life specialists, social workers, pastoral staff, and dietitians – all working together to provide round-the-clock treatment for our young patients.

As a Registered Nurse in the PICU, you will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will also educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.

We are a team-oriented unit that is vested in growth and development. Our unit has several committees that you can be a part of to help the unit grow and develop. We also have a very active confetti committee that loves to celebrate all things.
