Job Title: Parts Sales Representative

Riggs Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Parts Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling replacement parts and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell stock replacement parts, manufactured replacement parts, and aftermarket equipment
  • Read blueprints and perform takeoffs and estimating
  • Develop quotes for repair work
  • Utilize strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with our products
  • Develop strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office
  • Provide excellent phone and customer service skills
  • Read catalogs and computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices
  • Determine replacement parts required based on inspections of old parts, drawings, work orders, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions
  • Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
  • Fulfill customer orders from stock
  • Prepare sales slips or sales contracts
  • Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
  • Take inventory of stock
  • Advise customers on substituting or modifying parts when identical replacements are unavailable
  • Examine returned parts for defects and defective exchange parts or refund money
  • Observe and comply with all provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS and safety rules, including the use of PPE
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and one year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
