Role Summary

As a Sales Ambassador at Smith Auto Family Plainview, you will be instrumental in assisting our sales team and facilitating a smooth vehicle purchasing process for our clients. This entry-level role provides a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the automotive sector, cultivate essential sales competencies, and progress your career within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Leadership:
    • Assist the sales manager with daily operations and initiatives.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales objectives and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Vehicle Presentation:
    • Contribute to the display and arrangement of vehicles on the showroom floor and lot.
    • Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, attractively presented, and accompanied by accurate pricing and information.
  • Internal Vehicle Management:
    • Manage the intake and processing of trade-in and internal vehicles.
    • Guarantee that all required documentation and paperwork are completed with precision and efficiency.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Provide clients with comprehensive product knowledge and insights regarding vehicles and services.
    • Guide customers throughout the purchasing journey, from initial inquiries to finalizing transactions.
    • Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to highlight features and advantages.
  • Sales Assistance:
    • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to remain informed about product knowledge and sales strategies.
    • Assist with follow-up communications, including calls and emails, to foster sales and build customer relationships.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management.
    • Assist with various administrative tasks as required to support the sales department.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Strong enthusiasm for the automotive industry and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office Suite.
