Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate and select products/tools, ensuring adherence to enterprise-wide requirements and adapting to changing technologies.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for program development, modification, and troubleshooting, updating system and support documentation as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between health system departments and IT resources, ensuring proper use and maintaining high service levels.
  • Design and implement solutions to enhance existing systems, participating in the formulation and definition of system scope, objectives, and solutions.
  • Develop, test, debug, and document programs, interfaces, and scripts to specified requirements, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations.
  • Provide timely updates to management, customers, and others regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
  • Two years of IT systems and/or operational experience (if a Bachelor's degree), four years (if an Associate's degree), or six years (if a High School diploma or GED).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work Details
  • Full-time position with 40 standard hours per week.
  • Salary range: $46.33 per hour (hiring range), with pay offers determined by experience and internal equity.
  • Remote work arrangement with a day job schedule.
  • Located in Morrisville, NC.

This position is employed by NC Health, a private subsidiary of UNC Health Care System, providing shared services to operations across UNC Health Care.
