We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Analyst to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and development of applications and interfaces that deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system.
Key Responsibilities- Assist other IT teams with selection and provide technical evaluation of products/tools to ensure that the proposed solution adheres to enterprise-wide requirements.
- Develop and maintain clear, understandable documentation to describe program development and modification, as well as troubleshooting.
- Function as liaison to health system departments using IT resources and ensure proper use of resources and maintain high service levels.
- Offer design solutions and alternatives to enhance/improve existing systems.
- Participate in formulating and defining system scope, objectives, and solution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- Two (2) years of IT systems and/or operational experience (if a Bachelor's degree).
- Four (4) years of IT systems and/or operational experience (if an Associate's degree).
- Six (6) years of IT systems and/or operational experience (if a High School diploma or GED).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
UNC Health Care offers a competitive salary range of $46.33 per hour (hiring range) and a hybrid work assignment type. This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System.
