Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pathology Assistant to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pathology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Assist pathologists in the examination of surgical specimens
- Prepare and process tissue samples for examination
- Operate laboratory equipment, including microscopes and tissue processors
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Graduate of an accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
- ASCP certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
