PART-TIME DRIVER

8:00 PM TO 12:00 AM

Purpose of Position:

As a Shuttle Driver at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, you will be responsible for escorting arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner to/from the airport while driving company vans. You will act as an ambassador of the hotel to introduce guests to our city.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet guests with a warm and sincere welcome.
  • Load and unload luggage into and out of the van.
  • Navigate the bell cart through the hotel and courtyard area.
  • Maintain a professional image while at work.
  • Drive guests to the airport in the company van and perform other driving errands as assigned.
  • Deliver gifts and amenities to guest rooms.
  • Monitor the company van's maintenance requirements and communicate needs to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to read English language sufficiently to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and move packages and boxes and luggage up to 45 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to load and unload luggage.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances on property.
