Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Real Estate

Buchanan Legal Professional Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support its Real Estate team in Red Bank, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and promptly.
  • Schedule and manage attorney calendars, including meetings, court dates, and client consultations.
  • Conduct basic research related to real estate matters and gather relevant information.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and processing mail.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries for attorneys as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in legal administrative support, preferably in real estate law or within a real estate environment.
  • Knowledge of Real Estate documents and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.
