As we expand into the US market, we are setting up a base in Los Angeles and are seeking a dedicated Sales Growth Manager to drive our sales efforts.

Job Overview

This role is instrumental in acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence in the United States. The Sales Growth Manager will be responsible for managing the sales cycle (from lead generation to deal closure) and working closely with our marketing and operations teams to refine our strategies and achieve our revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and comfortable working in a small team, with a proven ability to close deals and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Identify, develop, and manage a pipeline of leads within the US restaurant and foodservice industry to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct sales meetings, deliver presentations, and lead product demonstrations to prospective clients to promote our cutting-edge automated cooking robots.
  • Sales Materials: Create and customize sales materials, proposals, and presentations to address client needs and showcase the value proposition of our innovative kitchen automation equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Performance Updates: Provide regular sales performance updates and forecasts to leadership to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with US and Tokyo-based teams to align sales strategies and improve outreach initiatives, including the marketing team.
  • Client Relationships: Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and exploring upsell opportunities to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities to enhance sales tactics and stay ahead of the competition.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of generating and converting leads into clients
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking processes
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with broader team goals
  • College degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the food service or kitchen equipment industry
  • Familiarity with international or cross-cultural team collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment

Compensation Package

Competitive annual salary: $100,000, comprising a base salary of $80,000 and a performance-based commission capped at $20,000 annually
