Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to partner with our Activity Director in planning and coordinating meaningful activities that enrich the lives and environment of our residents. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating a positive atmosphere and making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of our life enrichment program
  • Conduct one-on-one activities with residents to promote engagement and socialization
  • Collaborate with outside community organizations and volunteers to bring new ideas and experiences to our residents
  • Document resident participation and engagement in our activities
  • Assist with decorating for holidays and special events to create a festive atmosphere
  • Provide support during mealtime as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our residents
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our team
