About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Frontend Architect to join our team at Context Labs. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our online user experience efforts.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of front-end architecture and development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable technological solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to determine optimal user experiences and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to implement them.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver user experience requirements
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment on user experience goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in UI development
  • End-to-end understanding of modern application architectures
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, NodeJS, and NPM
  • Experience with RESTful API integration
  • Proficiency with HTML5 & CSS3
  • Expert experience with VueJS 3 and Nuxt 3 required
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience in a DevOps environment where testing and automation are ingrained in the way you work
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and tooling like Jenkins
Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, experience with the following would be beneficial:

  • Backend programming
  • Data visualization principles
  • Cytoscape, D3, Plotly, Vega, echarts, or another data visualization framework
  • Developing a reusable UI Component library using tools such as Lerna, Storybook
  • Accessible UI development
  • Kubernetes based environments
  • iOS, Android, or other Cross Platform development tools
