Medical Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. as a Medical Assistant Coordinator.
About the Role:
The Medical Assistant Coordinator will work under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, providing direct and indirect patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, dental and oral care, hair, and nail care.
- Assist patients with bowel and bladder functions while maintaining dignity.
- Record patient intake and output (I & O).
- Collect, label, and transport specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Change and transport soiled and contaminated linens according to procedure.
Requirements:
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BASIC Life Support (must be obtained within three months of hire).
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is around $38,000 - $43,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
