Job Description

Precision Tube Inc is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the production control department, this individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Production Control Shop Lead in daily activities and provide support as assigned.
  • Conduct cycle time analysis for various production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production floor staff to expedite work through multiple departments.
  • Assist with machine setup or changeovers as needed and perform troubleshooting tasks to resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and promote a safe working environment.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team culture by leading and mentoring production staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, safety, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
