About the Role
The Security Operations Manager position is responsible for the overall physical security operation of Qcells facilities. This role is also responsible for managing, overseeing, administering, and outsourcing security services to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, communicate, and monitor facility security operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to management regarding security projects and processes.
  • Manage security equipment improvements and changes, including CCTV systems, camera modifications, and other related tasks.
  • Manage visitor and truck trailer logs, distribute updated security protocols, and inform employees and contractors of security procedures.
  • Manage security service providers, process service invoices, and lead the resolution of security-related issues.
  • Effectively communicate internal and external security procedures and compliance to employees and contractors.
  • Enforce security protocols and develop standard security procedures.
  • Develop relationships with local government police departments and prepare weekly security operation reports to management.
  • Support other inter-department functions as needed.

 
Requirements
  • Associated degree or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law enforcement, security management, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of prior experience in safety/security experience.
  • Knowledge and experience using CCTV systems, CCTV installation projects, and physical security protocols.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent logical and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organization aptitude and attention to detail, with excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
